With the start of the new year, Urban Location would like to wish everyone a happy and healthy 2017! This year the Lunar New Year lands on January 28, 2017 which means Tet Festival is coming up soon. From January 27-29, the 36th Annual UVSA Tet Festival will be held at the OC Fair & Event Center where Urban Location Boba Tea House will have a booth for the first time ever!

Visit Urban Location at booth #3 in the Food Court and choose your favorite boba milk tea from the classic Milk Tea, Thai Tea, and Hokkaido Green Milk Tea. Every order will be served in a glass lightbulb bottle, so if you haven’t gotten one yet, now is a great time to start your collection.

A Brief History of the OC Tet Festival
This year marks the 36th year that the Union of Vietnamese Student Associations (UVSA) has sponsored Tet Festival in Orange County, CA. Tet Festival is held each year to celebrate the Lunar New Year, also commonly referred to as Tet, Vietnamese New Year, and Chinese New Year. The Tet Festival is also an opportunity to “help the youth build strong leadership skills, cultural awareness, and civic responsibility” according to the OC Tet Festival website. Profits from the event go to support hundreds of other local non-profit organizations.
